||For the diving dash, walk away, then jump and pogo. For the uppercut, dash away, then go just far enough away from where he disappeared to avoid the fireballs. To distinguish between the two, he'll appear midair for the dive and on the ground for the uppercut. When he shoots out the bats, jump and dash towards him for a few hits. Get inbetween the gaps of the spikes, and dash towards him for a hit, or fire off a spell from a distance. For the pufferfish balloon, jump inbetween the orbs and over the set of two, all the others can be avoided by being on the ground. Either heal or hit him when he's staggered in his bat form, though it won't do damage.||

First off, play it safe, ||nail arts|| are amazing at hitting him without putting yourself in danger, but that does mean that you can be attacking him constantly, as sometime, he will just be in a bad position for you to be able to hit him, second off, ||shriek should not be used, use shade soul instead, unless you see the perfect shriek opportunity you are likely to not hit the whole spell, maybe take damage in the process, so going for double hit shade souls is definitely more worth it, using that you can make the second phase really short
Thirdly health, in pantheons he only has 680 health, that is actually really small, phase two only has 340, that is 4 double hit shade souls, so the tldr is, as long as you have ressources (either health or soul) the fight will be quick, as you can either trade health for damage and damage tank, or trade soul for 80 free damage, that said if either one of your ressources gets low then it is a big problem
So the absolute 100% consistent strat to beat markoth is to get very good at soul tyrant, and using the 4 lifeblood you get at the bench right before, that way you can somewhat easily get into markoth with full soul and maybe more than your max health
And then you use something like heart to get even more ressource and you simply beat the boss with sheer numbers ||

To distinguish between the two, he'll appear midair for the dive and on the ground for the uppercut. When he shoots out the bats, jump and dash towards him for a few hits, you can also get a shade soul in. Get in between the gaps for the spikes. When he teleports into the air, walk towards him slowly to avoid the fire pillars, then shriek for damage. For the pufferfish balloon, jump in between the orbs and over the set of two, all the others can be avoided by being on the ground. Either heal or hit him when he's staggered in his bat form, though it won't do damage overall.||

||try not to dash unnecessarily- you can just stand still and he'll jump over you with the jump and dive attack, and you can pogo above his dash (although shadow dashing is easier here imo and will help you get used to it)||
