It's more about how much fun you have doing it I think. It's a lot easier to get good at a boss I really enjoy fighting. If you love fighting the difficult ab bosses, it comes pretty naturally.

Yep. Trying to just complete ||p5ab|| is a bad idea if you don't enjoy it. Although there's a lot of hidden enjoyment there because a lot of bosses were designed for ||ab|| I think. It's worth at least a few attempts.

general tips: ||jump and pogo over both his dash and slashing attack. for the triple slash, you'll most likely parry it, and you cant avoid dmg if your're too close. you have to be decently far away enough from PVto be able to hit the hitbox of his nail swing. ||
||Try to get right next to pv when he's diving and shooting up spikes from the floor. You can upslash to deal damage if ur in the gap next to it. Ddark if you're in an awkward position. ||
||Shade dash through his dagger throws, and shade cloak through the parry if you accidentally hit PV during it.||

Always ||overcharm your most expensive charm. Overcharming dashmaster instead of strength is wasting a notch you could perfectly use on steady body, dreamwielder, nail master's glory, or even crest idk.
Or since you have dashmaster you don't really need Sprintmaster also and you could just get a 2 notcher instead like Longnail, twister or even sharp shadow of you really want ig||
