Well the cheese is basically ||when you knock him down, hit his armor (but not his face) by either pogoing it or hitting it from behind to refresh the stagger timer. Use the additional time to get in a dream nail, then refresh it again, then another dream nail, then refresh, 2 heals, etc. so you exit each stagger with full soul and hp. You can shriek him twice as he gets up and jumps to the middle and then spam shade soul once he starts swinging his mace during the rampage and you'll knock him down again.||

||dodge the swords and wait for him to do the shield spinning attack. When he does go far enough away so you don't get hit and use all of your soul for shade soul. Make sure to try and get as many double hits as possible.
You can also do it now without waiting for the shield spinning attack but that's more risky so only do that if you feel confident you can dodge while doing so||

||perfect, shamans stone should always be equipped, unless ur more of a nail build, replacing quick focus. for colo, thorns is a good choice, and as soon as youve got enough geo, upgrade strength first, then continue grinding, so w/ 8 notches, its quickslash, shaman, grubsong, thorns. I would recommend trying to find more notches, as the builds with only 8 are limited.||

||after unbreakable strength, prob replace shaman with it for colo, as spells arent used too much in colo.||

i mean it can be a bit tricky if u arent super familiar with hollow knight movement, as is the case with newer players. but i would suggest the ||dashing into the wall method since that allows u to easily line up the right height for the wall jump||

i just put the first method in to show that theoretically it is possible without ||dash||
