And for most bosses after bench they don't really do much
And for bosses like failed champion after the bench i know i will lose those hearts but recover my soul and normal hearts so it literally makes no difference

||its just a game of patience, u have to wait for a safe opportunity to hit the ooma. to be super safe, i would recommend to not even go for hitting oomas during attacks, but instead in the intermission between attacks. this is so that u have ample space and time to react in case the ooma goes awry and circles back towards u or smth||

The ideal way for us to help would be if you shared a small clip of you playing her

instead of hive blood, you can use grubsong + gruberfly's elergy + deep focus for infinite healing which is faster but uses more notches

There are also some useful specific tips but they don’t go that far
||1) do not chase her in the platform phase, wait for her to go on the center plats
2) don’t spam shriek mindlessly, only use it at the end of an attack (laser or daggers in priority)
3) try to use pogos and side slash when possible to get more damage out of one jump, but don’t get greedy, overstay your welcome and get hit
4) you can heal for one mask at the end of lasers and daggers, just never try to heal for two ever
5) using ddark to preserve your shade cloak is a very valid way to gain on consistency, especially on the platform phase||

The main thing is just practice practice practice

There are technically technics to avoid that but they are more trouble than they are worth
Main thing I will say is… don’t try to use elegy
Use nail arts and dash slash instead
Elegy can work but it pushes you to be constantly aggressive and on the move, while nail arts favour hit and run

And at the end of the day, hit and run is much more safe as you ||overall move less, and become more aware of when you are safe to attack and when you are not

Also using real nail ||swings instead of elegy makes you gather soul, which can let you nuke phase two with shade souls, which you want to do||
