||play patiently and try to keep both of them on the same side of the arena. Note that they will change direction once you hit them if they are moving away from you. This can help to manipulate their positions.
Nailarts are great since often you have time to charge them while they attack and they have more range to make things safer.
Use soul for shade soul trying to hit both. Abyss shriek is a little more risky and rarely hits both so it's not a great options imo.||

||for almost all attacks jumping is the solution. The lunge attack as well as the triple slash both can be jumped and pogoed/dashed over. For the soul pillars you can also jump to make it easier since their hitboxes are much thinner further up.
I personally recommend saving your shade dash for his soul dagger attack||

||Monarch wings in a regular intended playthrough is needed for a lot of stuff, but they are all doable thanks to skips.
This includes things as simple as pogoing a background object or enemy to reach new heights (such as for Lurien or Hallownest's Crown), or all the way abusing a glitch which makes your vengeful spirit fly diagonally in sloped walls at 50fps for you to pogo, (such as for White Palace or Fungal Core).
Without monarch wings you can actually get all % excluding itself, and all endings but one that is actually unreachable, without major glitches or TAS only skips||

That has a funny trick. ||You need to die to crystal guardian and killing him without killing the shade will leave it in the arena. Now you can shade skip into enraged guardian||

And it's common to have skips you can lock yourself out of.

For example ||having too high of a nail can make some enemy pogos impossible, or getting shade soul makes stallball not doable||

||LK parries are probably the easiest to hit (which doesn't mean they are easy), and it's extremely satisfying.
The thing with parrying tho, is that it is extremely finicky, they need really good timing for close to no reward||

If you like ||parries, some modded bosses like Dryya, Enhanced Sly, Mysthic Ze'mer and Pale Shadow go really well with parries||
