i can easily go through ||his first phase|| but im having trouble with ||second phase||

||one of the best ways to deal with slys second phase is with a combination of shade souls and great slash. when sly gets close, immediately dash away. then turnaround once sly makes a full stop. if u have the soul, u should cast a shade soul; if done at the right timing, u have a good chance of getting a multihit. otherwise, do a great slash instead. u might have to walk towards sly a little to land the great slash but its quite lenient since great slashs hitbox is big. u can see a video demonstration of this strat here: #hk-help message||

why does it ||take me 1 try to beat the radiance on my first try but when it's sly im having so much trouble i tried this again in god of halls the great slash thing didnt work i keep getting damaged so i decided to save up souls but i still died (ig i just suck that much)||

||i mean sly is a hard boss fight, but once u get down how to do his second phase it really isnt that bad. just reactively dash when u see him close to u, and once u see stop after the spinning attack, turnaround and great slash or shade soul. if u r getting hit u r probably not reacting quick enough and not dashing out of the way in time, or u r walking too far towards sly when he is doing that spinning thing and u get hit by it||

||just a regular charm build like shaman stone + strength + quick slash + whatever u what is good enough. if u r really struggling with using great slash on second phase u can try mark of pride for the extra nail range||

I can only get in 1 hit usually in most of his attack and not more
Should i get abyss shriek and do this boss later
Even though i am not able to atleast dodge most of his attack but one little mistake and instantly 2 masks gone
The reason why im taking barely 25% of his health||

||abyss shriek will be helpful for damage yea, but theres really only two openings where u r gonna use it: flame pillar attack and at the start of pufferfish attack. it will help with making the fight go by faster since u have higher dps but the main thing about this fight is knowing how to respond to each of his attacks||

Like if you don’t attack the bats while they are staggered, you have plenty of time ||

||well the whole fight is really about reacting to whatever telegraph nkg does, then based on the telegraph respond to the attack accordingly. as u play the fight u will start to recognize these telegraphs and be able to react almost instinctively to what hes about to do.
if u r finding nkg too hard currently u can always go do smth else before coming back, since i can see u r still missing a few things from max upgrades||

But you also need to properly learn all of their pattern and be able to dodge them very consistently
It doesn’t have to be perfect, but if an attacks hits you half the time it is out, no matter how good your damage is, you will die

||quirrel does not appear in the godhome uumuu fight. instead, after every few attacks, uumuu will spawn in a couple of oomas into the arena. if an ooma core explodes near uumuu, uumuu will become vulnerable for attack||

Arguably for the spikes, but that is the only attack
I think it’s not a matter of not reacting in time, but just that you are not changing how you dodge based on what you see
You always try the same thing and get hit the same way each time

Stop trying to win attempts, try to do attempts where you have only one goal, dodge each attack

||The fight is very rythymic, so you can always dodge the attack in the same way. If you don't have an attack you are struggling with yet, I'd recommend doing a couple of runs where you don't try to attack. Just dodge as long as you can to get the attacks down||
