||White Defender|| wall by AppleEgg101#6467
||Dung Balls: White Defender will throw two dung balls. These balls don’t track you, but they bounce very fast and only despawn after a bit. Their path is predictable, and you can avoid them with an easy dash. They can also be destroyed with spells or a few nail strikes.||
||Dive: White Defender will dive into the ground and reappear. He will dive left or right, but not always toward you. He dives quickly, but only covers about 1/4 of the arena.||
||Dung Burst: White Defender will go into the ground and swim around for a couple seconds, then burst up. Unlike his easier form, you can not use Desolate Dive/Descending Dark to knock him out in this state. When he bursts up, 10 dung balls go up with him and then fall, 5 on each side. These can be avoided just by predicting their trajectory and walking forward/backward or standing right next to where White Defender erupts (but not on him.)||
||Dung Spikes: White Defender will exclaim, then quickly throw his arm back and slam the ground. Three spikes move outward on either side of him. These spikes can be shadow dashed through, but are very tall and cannot be cleared by Monarch Wings, so it is recommended to just move away to avoid them.||
||Defender Ball: White Defender will throw three dung balls, then turn himself into a ball. He bounces around in large arcs around the arena. You can juggle him around with your nail, but be warned as he still deals damage in this state. It is possible, albeit hard, to kill White Defender if you can keep him in this attack by continuing to juggle him before he bounces 3 times. This is because after 3 bounces, in the middle of his 4th bounce White Defender will dive quickly into the ground, creating dung spikes that span the entire arena. These have to be either Shade Dashed through or going to the very edge of the arena and Mantis Clawing (not recommended unless you are already at the wall when he dives.)||

||Knight's Rush: White Defender will exclaim loudly, freezing you. He will then dive forward into the ground and repeatedly do the Dung Burst attack with little time in between. In all, he will do Dung Burst 6 times for about 10 seconds. He does this at 600 HP. To avoid this attack, simply dash right when he stops yelling, as he dives toward you. Then, use dashing or just simply walking to avoid the first dung burst, which makes it trivial to avoid the ones that come after.||
||Backstep: White Defender will sometimes step back after one of your or his attacks.||

I'd suggest using||shaman stone and grub song (and maybe mark of pride)|| as they helped me cuz || u should be using howling wraith/abyss shriek it's very useful|| and just try to observe where the ||nails are coming from and dodge constantly||
Only try to damage him with nail if he's close don't go chasing him :3 good luck!!!

||imo the climbing phase is definitely the toughest just because of how the lazers work and you might not be on full health after the first phase||

||i usually try,as im climbing up i go far from the platform im trying to jump to,then as the lazer is about to hit i dash so the lazer is shot further from the platform||

||I did them not too long ago I have absolutely no speedrun knowledge other than I've seen a bunch of speedrun videos so in my run I did shade skip to blue lake, BG skip to watchers spire without wings and acid skip from crossroads to canyon but the speedrun ended up taking like 3 hours because combined watcher knights and THK no gear took me like an hour and a half||

• In the long run geo(the currency) isn't too important, you'll get enough eventually so don't worry when you lose some
• You'll die. A lot. And that's normal
• Team Cherry liked breakable walls so they are more than present in the game
• There never is a useless room, you'll always get something for exploring
• In metroidvanias such as Hollow Knight, you collect upgrades as you play, allowing you to reach new areas. If you don't think you can reach somewhere, you probably can't. Come back later when you have an upgrade that allows you to reach it.
