||u just have to react to when he pops up, he stops for a moment before he pops up so u have to pay attention to his movement. when he stops, immediately dash away if hes under u, otherwise try to get next to where he pops up since that is a safe spot from the dung balls that spews out afterwards||

||I would recommend using long nail or mark of pride as it increases your nail length so you can stay further away from him but still be able to hit him I recommend staying away from him while he's underground to avoid getting hit when he comes back up||

||You are usually pretty safe in the corners of the arena but it's not a surefire escape from getting hit||

You really only have to dodge the first one. After that, the distance he travels from his previous spot is exactly the same, and he'll either go right or left.

||first of all make sure u have heart equipped, that will make it easier. then u should try to stay on the ground and dont chase upwards too much, since its easier to dodge the swords on the ground than it is in the air. narts are helpful in this fight but if u r on the ground its not too hard to get hits on markoth regardless, especially if u have mop equipped. u generally want to save soul in first phase and then spam spells on second phase to kill markoth as fast as possible||
