||there are three factors which influence the amount of hits your vengeful spirit or shade soul does.

• The movement of the enemy: If the enemy is moving away from you while getting hit by the spell a double hit is more likely to happen.
• The hitbox size of the enemy: The bigger the enemy's hitbox the more likely a double hit will occur.
• The hitbox size of the spell: If you are using shaman stone which increases its site the fireball will be more likely to hit multiple times.

All of this isn't rng however. If a factor is met enough for a double hit to happen it's not rng but will always happen. So for example a boss with a big enough hitbox for a double hit to happen will always take a double hit if done right and it's not random||
