the whole exploration portion of the game is immediately gone once u start following any sort of guide for a metroidvania. given that a large portion of a metroidvania is exploring new areas, u r really cutting urself off from half the game's experience imo. many areas of the game are intentionally mapped out in a way to make u feel lost, or make u wonder about where to go next, and u lose out on that if u r following a guide. u will also miss out on a lot of optional stuff by following a guide compared to if u were just going around exploring urself. stumbling upon well hidden secrets is always a fun feeling and smth that u wont ever experience by following a guide

Use strength, since you are new you will have hard time parrying his attacks so i recommend just dashing through them with the help of sharp shadow, thats 4 notches remaining now. you can use shaman stone to shriek him while he does his flame pillar attacks or you can equip mark of pride/quickslash. you can also equip quick focus if you plan on getting hit and healing which you do as you are new to him. the remaining 1 slot can go to steady body||

||confirmed charms are : grimchild, strength, sharp shadow, steady body. you can choose any good 3 notch charm for the remaining 3 notches||

||depends on the fight. I personally find shape of unn more useful in many fights however nkg isn't one of them because often it's not your positioning that leads to you getting hit while healing but just your timing. And qf helps with that||

||nkg has 1500 health|| ||you will get 2 main chances to damage him, 1st when he does his fire bat attack, 2nd when he does his flame pillars attack. jump over the first fire bat and dash at the time to skip over the 2nd downwards firebat and get 3 hits off him. you can also get 1 hit + shriek at this time, 2nd when he does his flame pillar you move to the opposite side of him jump and dash through the first flame pillar and move towards him, as you get near him jump hit, you will land below him, jump do upper hit + 1 shriek|| ||you will get few chances of healing, 1st is when he turns into a bat, you can also get hits of him at that time for soul if you want, but you can also get 3 heals, you can also get 1 heal when he does his spike attack. if you have shape of unn you can heal when he does his 4 fire bat attack and you can keep moving towards him, the bats will go over you|| ||besides these 3 attacks he does 2 more, 1st he dashes towards you from height and then dashes forward while having a flaiming tail following him from behind, you should jump and try to get 1 pogo and then shade dash through the flame tail, 2nd he teleports infront of you and gets ready to do a dash slash, just jump and down hit without thinking anything, you will parry him, while he is going up you can turn back and get 1 hit or 1 shade soul||

he will send 4 bats, 2 up, 2 down ||jump between the 1st down and the upper bat and the dash over the 3rd and the 4th bat and get 3 hits, you can get 3 hits without quickslash too if you do it perfectly, quickslash just makes it easier for you to get 3 hits at this time, besides that there is 1 more useof quick slash but that will be too hard for you right now so i wont bother too tell that ||

note : if you play with this style, you can kill him on ||hitless|| too

you can technically hit him in ||the celling if you have enough reach to attack them
the fight is a test of patience, but you can heal rather consistently by going to the ledge of the central platform and healing while they are doing some attack (other than going in the celling)||
so you should be able to survive for a long time

if you heal more hp than you take... eventually the boss will die

go to the center to lure one of them, back up, wait for it to attack, come close to him, attack him, back up and do it again. If they are surrounding you, try to get both of them on the same side of you, and dont get pushed towards a corner of the arena

||so its a battle of territory control||

||when they almost finish their attack, dash into their attack preferably with ddark to get territory back early||

||they will sometimes force their way through with their nail art attacks that you should have a ddark ready for to get out of||

possibly, I personally can't justify fitting it in a ||charm build
not using quick slash, strength and shaman stone, in my opinion, is putting yourself at a disadvantage given how strong those charms are

you also shouldn't lack soul as you can get some for free if you ||dreamnail them during the phase transition a few times
the best thing to do is practice them a few times in the hall of gods, the fight isn't very intuitive but is actually very basic when it comes to moveset variety||
