||stand a decent bit away from him and bait out the 1 slash 2 slash jump spin attack. Stand out of his range for the first two slashes, then shade dash underneath or through him as he jumps up. You can get a few hits in when he lands and just repeat over and over. Heal when he's staggered. For the cyclone nail art, jump on the wall to get high enough. For the dash slash, jump over him. For the great slash, run away and jump||

||1) if by bench warping u mean save and quit to load at ur last bench, then it wont work for the main flower quest (where u need to deliver it to the grave) since there is a hardsave at grey mourner when u go pick up the flower from her.

2. teleporting to a dreamgate will break the flower.

3. flower recipients are: traitor child's grave (main flower quest), elderbug, oro, and godseeker. additionally, emilitia and white lady have unique dialogue if u bring them the flower but will ultimately reject the flower||

||note that after u complete the main flower quest, u will be able to pick up additional flowers from the grave. u can then use the save and quit method to quickly deliver the flowers to the rest of the recipients since there is no hard save at the grave when picking up the flower from there||

A lot of people don't use ||spells|| at all until ||godhome||. Personally I focused on survival builds because I figured that if I can heal faster than the boss can damage me on average (after I learned how to dodge) I could beat the boss. If that threshold is reached, it doesn't matter how much health it has.

But yes, ||shaman stone|| is a must if you use ||spells||.

In general I see a lot of emphasis on racing bosses down, but the patient approach is often easier. Sometimes the bottleneck is not how much damage you can deal, but how much damage you can heal. I've uploaded a few "impossible" boss challenges for another game which showcases that
