Im trying to give my friend a save file because he wants to try messing around in || godhome ||, but he hasnt unlocked it. I found the savefile, being "user.dat2", but im wondering if him downloading my save file will delete his previous save files if he has one in that same save slot? also whether i should only copy the user.dat2 to him, or also all the other files that have user.2 in it, such as the json files. Anybody who has transferred save files before know how to do this?

Basically save files are really easy
You have a save folder with your saves in it numbered
The game reads the numbered file, and loads that save
If your friend has a file in the 2nd slot, and replaces that file, with your file, yeah their previous file is lost
But they can just move that file over to some other folder, put your save in, and switch the other way around again if they want to access that other file after using yours

Safest thing to do is to go to ||peaks after selling relics to lemm for money, then going back to soul sanctum after getting cdash
Cuz cdash lets you access resting grounds, right side city (through blue lake) and thus pale ores through seer or the basin ore
Which makes sanctum less deadly||

||Don't get too high in the air or you could get hit by swords from above. You can ddark to remove spikes. Shriek is really strong. Make distance between yourself and orbs as soon as possible.

For the platform phase, the bottom platform is safest because you can lure orbs into nearby platforms. Be patient and wait for her to come to a good spot.

For the climb, wait until you see the beam, then decide on a direction to move. Land right as the beam is fading.||

If you have all of them, ||shaman, strength, quick slash, and spell twister|| is good

yeah

||shaman, strength, and quick slash|| are good for everything honestly. They're the three best ||charms|| in the game.

And visiting old areas for goodies is never a bad idea (usually)

Dealing with specifically ||the zotelings, they require two hits instead of one, plus just bs factor like his instant flail run. A lot of stuff on the screen at once which I cannot deal with||

||for the zotelings u usually want to shriek them or wait for them to fall near the ground and then ddark. u can hit gpz while hes spitting out the zotelings to get the soul needed. also for the flail u just need to react to it quickly and jump up to start pogoing him. if u have the space u can also dash to the side and then jump up since that gives u a little more space to get to full height to start pogoing||

If you are not used to ||sharp shadow|| it can become quite hard adjusting to the range but I think sometimes that increased range could help

when pogo is way safer and does more damage
