If u dont miss too many spells then u should have enough soul to kill him, but if not, the safest way to hit him in the second phase is on his spinning shield attack, where u can get in two dash slashes||

There are a couple of bosses that I was able to ||radiant (charmless)|| twice in a row, then a couple days later I died to ||ascended||. I was worried I'd stop making progress because at times it felt like I was losing skill faster than I was gaining it. Most of my problems were due to tilt though. Losses resulted in the loss of patience, which I can't win without.

||Markoth|| was weird for me in ||ab||. If I messed up to ||soul tyrant||, I would do really well on ||markoth||, otherwise I would lose all my ||lifeblood||. I think nerves don't make me lose necessarily, just perform outside of expectations, good or bad.

Grimm works like the usual bosses, as staggers are based on hit count, not hp.
But Grimm is still special, as the stagger has a set duration no matter what, and can only receive up to 50 damage during each stager.
You can heal about 4-5 times during each, so heal as much as you can||

Shaman if you like spells
Mark of pride if you like nail
Spell Twister to support spells
Heart if you need health or mask binding
Sharp shadow if you need dash distance
Grubsong can be added as a bonus
Dreamwielder or Nail master's glory if you know how to use them
Soul eater to overcharm
Quick focus for much easier heal
Flukenest if you know how to abuse the glitch
Fury for ascended overcharmed or if you're skilled enough

Anything else isn't really relevant or straight up garbage, but you can always experiment||

Yeah. It's another patience test, because he'll often hide below platforms or behind platforms preventing you from landing any safe hits. It's almost like turn based, but he'll sometimes skip your turn

This is my personal recommendation if you are planning on beating her in ||p5
Practicing her without a full build will let you grab some extra leniency to combat nerves (I recommend heart for a first clear of p5)||

But the fight isn’t a matter of charms, it’s a matter of learning the fight
Which isn’t easy, make sure to take breaks as to not waste time being in efficient practicing her

There are also some useful specific tips but they don’t go that far
||1) do not chase her in the platform phase, wait for her to go on the center plats
2) don’t spam shriek mindlessly, only use it at the end of an attack (laser or daggers in priority)
3) try to use pogos and side slash when possible to get more damage out of one jump, but don’t get greedy, overstay your welcome and get hit
4) you can heal for one mask at the end of lasers and daggers, just never try to heal for two ever
5) using ddark to preserve your shade cloak is a very valid way to gain on consistency, especially on the platform phase||

||there are multiple ways to go about the fight. but the most consistent (in my opinion) is a mixture of narts and spells. first of all, u will be entering the fight with full soul from soul tyrant in an ideal situation. then, u want to use a combination of narts and spells in the first phase. but do not overuse ur soul in the first phase because in the second phase the plan is to spell spam like crazy and nuke markoth with spells until he dies. if u run out of soul in second phase before markoth is dead, the safesst way to get hits in this phase is to wait for his spinning shield attack and dash slash twice, once in the beginning of the attack right when the shields start to spin and another when the shields are almost fully receded. but in an ideal fight u should be able to kill markoth before running out of soul||

a huge text wall but there is a ton that goes on in this fight so uhhhh yea.
||the phase where its only the one brother isnt really worth talking about so ill mainly be talking about the second phase, when they both join the fight. for this phase, the most important thing is to not get cornered into the wall. when oro and mato are both on one side of u, they will do alternating attacks, and will either do a double slash, a jump slash, or one of them will start charging up a nart while the other holds a defensive position. if u r in the middle of the two brothers, then they will attack u at the same time. now when they are doing alternating attacks and one of them does a double slash, just wait for the attack outside of its range, then shade dash towards the brother as the second slash is finishing. this way, u can avoid being cornered. if one of them does a jump slash, there are many ways to deal with this but what i would actually suggest dashing under the attack, hitting the brother twice as its coming down from its jump slash, then immediately ddark since they will now be simultaneously attacking due to u being in the middle of the two brothers. after the ddark, u should shade dash out of the middle to fully get out of the way of the attacks. this seems rather unintuitive to do since u r purposefully triggering the simultaneous attack, but i found that this is actually a consistent way to deal a good amount of damage to one or both of the brothers, since both will attack u at once ull usually be able to hit both of them with the ddark hitboxes. the only thing left to talk about are the narts. if u see one of the brothers start to hold up a defensive position then u know the other one is charging up a nart. u can also hear them charging up a nart if its happening offscreen so u can also use that to ur advantage.||
i have attached a reference video of an ||ab radiant oro and mato|| kill, which will give u a further idea of how to play the fight with ||bindings||.

also ||with just charm binding ull have enough soul to be able to shade soul and hit both of the brothers in the second phase which is not shown in my video since soul binding makes spell usage more conservative. so that should make the fight go by quicker||

||narts can work against lost kin but I would suggest not really using them on lost kin. The balloons that lost kin spawns can get a bit annoying if u have a nart charged so i think its better to just use nail swings in order to leave ur options more open as to what to hit||

It's all in the mindset. So long as you learn from your mistakes and identify them, you can overcome any of the bosses, and it's very rewarding. You don't need extraordinary reaction time. Learning a boss is more like memorizing a good response for every situation.

As for getting lost, all you really have to do is explore the unexplored edges of your map. You can also collect a ||compass|| which shows your position on the map. Pay attention to signs and artwork. Trust that the developers won't be unfair to the player.
