But if you want, there are spell windows still if you're curious:

Shade soul triple slash or dash by dashing through

Abyss Shriek after a sword dive and you can make sure you're safe
Ddark next to them during focus to skip the attack damage and stay hitting them||

being in the corner may look scary but from my experience its the only place where you can reliably dodge them 1 at a time
unless you're planning to hit them with descending dark, dont stay in the middle, thats just asking for you to get hit
most attacks are the same as phase 1 just with less space
for mato's nail art try to stay below while he flies up and use a d-dark if you dont feel safe||

||I think this is just an issue with consistency. It shouldn’t matter what the hp of the boss is and u shouldnt be thinking about the hp of the boss while fighting it. Just play the same throughout the whole fight and nail binding pretty much becomes a non issue, other than making the boss fight go on for a longer time||

This is my mentality too. I think survival focused builds are super underrated. Everybody recommends dps builds whenever new players ask for help. I agree they're better once you've learned the fight, but they don't actually make the fight easier because it shouldn't be a race imo
