||practice the fight on ascended in the hall of gods. I recommend mainly using nailsarts and saving your soul in the first phase. Don't chase him around but wait on a platform for him to come to you. If he gets too close you can move to a different platform. When the second phase starts use all your soul as shade souls while trying to get as many double hits as possible. He should already be pretty low at that point so just do the rest with great and dash slashes like the first phase||

generally for the ||pantheon I recommend using shaman, strength, quickslash and then any of catcher, twister, unn, grubsong/nailmaster's glory + steady body. For Markoth you might wanna switch it up a bit though since strength and qslash don't affect nailarts. Find out what changes you can make while still being able to beat the other bosses in the section. If you do make changes (which isn't necessary) I recommend just adding more soul/spell charms||

well the main part of the strat is the ||nailarts so that'd be pretty important. Nailarts aren't more difficult than any other ability in the game. You just get them later on an people tend to forget them that they seem very strange and hard to control later on. You really just need to learn them like anything else in the game tho. After 15 minutes of actually practicing using them you'll get used to it. Again I recommend just doing markoth on ascended even if you don't beat it since it's good practice||

you can also learn to play without ||shaman stone. That doesn't make shaman a bad charm. Steady body is a qol charm. If you don't like it and it isn't for you then you don't use it. There's no debate it does help if you do like it though||

The most basic build possible is ||strength, quick slash, steady body or nail master's glory, and you can choose between shamans, mark of pride and soul eater, overcharming another. But for some fights you may wanna change, sharp shadow is really good for watchers or failed champion, while crest is good for lost kin and spell twister for Markoth.||

Ima be so real with you. I had that same issue, it seemed like a chore at some points just to explore the game and look for the areas I haven’t been to yet. I was lucky enough to have a friend that gave me hints on where to go next so that I would still enjoy my time playing. I definitely would advise to take a break for at least a day or two and comeback with a fresh mind. Hopefully you complete the game and explore all that you can and or want to. 🙂 👍

Passive charms all have a unifying goal of making you last longer in a fight. Die slower type deal.

-||quickfocus doubles the value of heal opportunities in length, but also makes healing possible in places it originally was not. This makes it the strongest passive charm in game. I and many other people use quickfocus to get 1000+ kills in the eternal ordeal.

Over the course of a fight, you are expected to healthier damage, heal, cast spells, etc.

Hiveblood trades your time and notches for infinite hp. It sucks, because it resets if you take damage. But it also trivializes platforming. Similar case with deep focus.

Passive charms in general are considered weak, because they don’t provide enough “value”, which is intentional dev design. Killing something faster and before you die is and should always be better than making the fight take longer and winning eventually.

Qf creates room to heal, hive is infinite hp in platforming, baldur shell can block 100% of mask damage by accident or intentionally, unn creates new heal opportunities and makes healing safer, albeit not as strong as QF, stalwart makes dealing damage after a stun easier (used to be broken) making burst builds very strong on weaker bosses or with soul surplus. Dashmaster makes dodging easier, and use useful for charging down some teleportation bosses like soul tyrant.

Fragile heart adds 2 masks, which don’t have any effect until you drop down to 2 or less HP.
If you drop down to 2 hp, your issue is not having too little masks - it’s not being sble heal enough, the fight is lasting too long, or you can’t dodge attacks very consistently.

If you are healing constantly, and still slowly losing masks over time, fragile heart doesn’t buy you a lot of time, less time for 2x damage bosses.

Fragile heart becomes useless if:
-any of these charms provide you 2 masks of value (dodging, healing, time to kill)
-if you equip a charm that makes the fight take less time. (Which is better than dying slower)||

||in ab, ascended collector’s adds die in two nail hits, the adds have 26 hp each and ur nail deals 13 damage. But the more annoying part of ascended collector compared to attuned is that the adds in ascended don’t die to one cyclone slash hit while the ones in attuned do. This makes cyclone slash spam a lot more effective on attuned than on ascended. But cyclone slash spam still works on ascended, u just have to be way more careful becuz it’s very easy to not get that second hit on an add and leave it alive, resulting in u being in a vulnerable position. This is especially true against primal aspids, which love to just fly just out of range of ur cyclone slash and snipe u while u still in the cyclone slash animation ||

Yep ||cyclone slash spam is still the best in ascended imo, it’s just that u have to make sure u start the cyclone slash when the jar is not at the very edge of the cyclone slash range (so make sure u r relatively close to the jar) or else if a primal aspid spawns then it’ll fly out of range, and u also need to hold in the direction towards the primal aspid to ensure the second hit connects||
