||bats: it's gonna sound ridiculous, but shape of unn, you can heal and just walk under the bats||
||spikes: you can just dodge those||
||pillars: try to stay on the ground as little as possible, you can jump offstage and shadow dash back to stage||
||dive n dash: jump and pogo when he lands, and then double jump towards where he started diving to avoid the flames||
||dash, jump, and explode (THE VOLCANO THING YKNOW): dash away and then just stand where he jumped off the ground so you don't get hit||

it's a bit of a pain to like do all that but thats what i did

obv i reccomend trying them but ultimately if you keep forgetting to do one of the things or seems too hard to do, find something that works for you

if you need to heal during the fight at any point, just go to a corner and heal, and doing ||damage is easy enough, if you start diving while he is fully burried underground you stagger him for big damage||

the in game map is there for a reason, use it, it shows every path you have yet to take, so take every path until you find the item you want

every path will lead to somewhere good

I am extremely lost, i am at the start of the game pretty much, I beat the boss ||in the middle of the map|| and unlocked ||Greenpath|| but I have no idea where to go next, every other possible way entrance is inaccessible because I dont have any movement skills, I am trying to avoid spoilers as much as I can so I avoided googling it straight up but I explored both maps everywhere I could so far and I have no idea where to go.

||mawlek is very susceptible to spell damage, like ddark and shriek, so shaman stone is definitely good here. you can side-slash once or twice at a time before running away, you can use ddark whenever you are close to him and feel unsafe, and you can trade HP to use shriek when you're right under him||

i would say that ||trade hp for shriek is suboptimal, as that's like 120 dmg/66 soul after heal, when you could get up to like ~160 with 2x ddark||
