i can give a few tips tho

when he does the thing where he ||chases you with his sword, jump up and down slash him until he falls. When he falls you can use the downward dash spell||

also sometimes you can ||heal a mask or two while he is spitting out his zotelings. And in general you should take care of zotelings as soon as possible.||

also ||when he is falling from the sky you should dash in the opposite direction from what you’re moving in because he predicts your movement.||

the problem with saving ||shade cloak for triple slash|| is that the counter to ||soul daggers|| is weaker. i'd say get used to pogoing ||triple slash|| and use ||shade cloak for soul daggers|| instead - you generally have to pick one as if it combos ||soul daggers into triple slash|| that's when it's off of cooldown

that one is the hardest attack imo, if you're playing aggressive (like prefer). if you're really struggling or want to play safe, you could keep more distance, and trade off damage in exchange for security. there's still some attacks that could be reliably countered for damage, such as ||the dash, and soul pillars||

If PV is offscreen: will be either dash, soul daggers, or void tendrils. Starting with a jump works for all of them:

• Dash: Pogo, chase for side slash
• Triple Slash: jump away for distance and pogo/parry. sometimes shade cloak if it is off of cooldown. (usually if it wasn't following triple slash.)
• Soul Daggers: shade cloak through and go in for nail hits. if safety needed, back up instead of going for nail hits
• Soul Pillars: you can just walk to the safe spots and get a hit in, but can be easier to take advantage of consistent dash spacing to reach them. can get a hit in after the pillars vanish.
• Focus: either get out of range and then come back in, or d-dark iframe the big one for great offensive pressure. be mindful of the small ones. potential itemless heal if you're ready to cancel, guaranteed if you can evade the small ones.
• Void Tendrils: Air stall while dashing towards, then pogo. often d-dark after.

my standard build is ||strength+quick slash + quick focus+shape of unn - hybrid nail/heal build, with the heal charms allowing much easier healing||

the second one is harder, but has a cheese strat if you wish: ||striking the armor with nail during stagger will reset the stagger time without dealing damage, which avoids progressing the fight. if you alternate actions with hitting the armor, it allows indefinite time to dream nail and heal. you can then burn through the soul to get the next stagger fast (before tantrum ends if full gear and proper execution), taking advantage of vs+ triple hits during tantrum if timed right, since the mace has a damageable hitbox for some reason so you can hit close mace, body, and far mace for the triple hit.||

the way they generally work is that ||hitting the boss will end the stagger||, but some are different - the way it works for ||false knight+ is that it needs to take a certain amount of damage on the maggot during the stagger to move to the next phase (shown by tantrum), letting the time expire will reset to the last phase you just finished, and hitting them (maggot or armor) will reset the timer, giving you more time||
