I did a quick little search, and i found that the game has around 6 frames of "input lag", which is the same as super mario odyssey (and not bad at all), on the same note someone mentioned celeste having about 2 frames less, for reference.

The devs have stated that the input lag is do to unity that applies v-sync, and funnily enough the pc game with v-sync on has the same amount of input lag. Also, the most important part, is that the devs tested and created the challenges with v-sync turned on, a statement directly from the devs, so the game shouldn't be harder do to more input lag than on pc without v-sync turned on.

Also this quote from resetera (from one of the devs) is important:

" Worth also stating: There are wind-up frames in the slash (before the white slash frames appear), as the Knight reaches back for its nail, and the jump still has an initial slow start and rise, which is intended to give weight to it. Also, our edge leniency (That grace period as you leave a ledge but can still jump) is much tighter than most platformers, which can surprise new players. "

In short, the switch version if perfectly fine. So to anyone wanting hollow knight, go ahead and buy it on switch!

||Radiance is the name of a boss. You're thinking of radiant, which is a mode in godhome that makes you fight a boss hitless. I also don't think you know what a dream boss is. It doesn't mean a boss in godhome, it refers to the dream versions of bosses that you're able to refight by dreamnailing said boss' body after killing it, which will give you essence after completing the fight.||
