What I do on the ||uppercut is that I dash away from them
Hit them once, then don’t move which usually lines me up perfectly to dodge the following fireball
Dashing through is definitely possible, and has the advantage of working even if you are cornered (which you should generally just avoid) but I find it less intuitive to find a spot to dodge the following fireballs if you dash through||

Well you can just, go to the ||last mask on your map, you should find a way to get there, if no directly from fog canion||, maybe from the areas which are close by
But you may also wanna put that ||kingsbrand, or that elegant key|| to use
For the ||kingsbrand, there is a door which has a matching symbol||, though I suppose you don’t remember where it is (it is in ||ancient basin||)
The ||elegant key is to be used… well not far from where you are standing actually||

||generally try to stay grounded. i see ppl tend to unnecessarily jump a lot in the fight and that causes more opportunities to get hit as moving in the air is limited since u cant dash and whatnot as much as u might need. additionally, try to use fireball a lot since it often double hits without even trying. for charms it seems ur using compass, i would swap that, as well as dash master too and add shaman in for those 3||

||ok i just finished the game and it is super good and a lot of fun. My one complaint was that by the end i had all the upgrades and could out dps the two final bossess radience and hollow knight so it was kinda anticlimatic but nkg was really fun so that made up for it||

no your fine. most of the time youtubers are pretty good at games in general and will prolly struggle on some other boss that you find easy. ||hornet|| is a very common roadblock boss that is a bit of a wake up call for new players.

||whenever there's large stretches between opportunities to hit a boss, I suppose? As an example, I know I've seen dash slash used at the very end of nkg's balloon attack||

||for most bosses nailarts are mostly overshadowed by normal nail + spells. Only being useful in some situations like when a boss staggers to get a little more damage or if a boss is far away or unreachable for a bit where you can charge the attack.
There are some bosses like Grimm, Markoth, oblobbles or most warrior dreams where they are extremely helpful and sometimes the best way to deal with the boss.

Other than that where they really shine is in pantheon runs with bindings. There they often outclass the normal nail and help a ton for almost every boss||

I will say that ||radiant markoth|| in some ways is a really good training experience

You just need to stay paitent
With soul eater + spell twsiter you just need to reach phase 2 with full soul and then spam shade soul ( make sure I get double or tripple hit) ||
