If you're still struggling to get a consistent counterattack, one convenient fact I discovered is that ||pretty much all of Pure Vessel's attacks have a good response where you're jumping in the air. You'll probably start jumping on reflex after some time.||

||The counter to sword-rise is to dash if he's above you, and jump when you see the lines -- trying to get between them. Being higher up will make you more likely to miss them by chance. Just avoid moving too much when you do this; the jump should be straight up and straight down, with only a tiny adjustment if need be.||

||The counter to triple slash that works for me is to jump and pogo off of his slashes. This is all about timing. Try pogoing too early or late and you'll get hit. Don't worry about how high up you are; you'll block the attack as long as you time the slashes properly. This takes some time to nail down.||

i have used it, and i dont need to use it to make arguments regarding it. ||you can see in this video (doing exactly what you stated of hiding in a corner) does not block 1/3 of the hits like you said, instead of the 14 total times TK would have been hit, dream shield blocked 2, meaning TK was hit 12 times. 12/2 is nowhere near the figure you presented, hence the initial questioning of the data. lying about info to make points is not in good faith, and it really does nothing, especially when it can be so easily shown as blatantly false||

Opportunities to attack, by that I mean, you need to only attack if you know that you can avoid a hit, trading hits is not worth it
Thus you need to learn how to dodge, so try to learn every pattern, learn to dodge them, and learn how to punish them
