At your point in the game, I'd recommend just going for things. If a boss ends up being too hard, you will always have the option of exploring other areas and coming back to it later. You will get stronger as you progress through charm, ||mask||, ||nail||, and ||spell|| upgrades. Plus you'll get better at the game.
