About anything can fill those last two notches, including heart

You want to use spells often as she is a big stationary target so an easy one to hit with them (though good luck using the quick cast key on that)
For the platform phase you really should stay in the same place and not chase her around, it’s too dangerous||

1. ||There was an npc, "Quirrel" that you probably encountered, he probably recommended you to upgrade your nail, you could try search how to do that (search in game, not in google lol) and then keep doing attempts, it should be easier||
2. ||You can exit the soul sanctum by going to the top left part of the city, you can probably find it yourself. Then you can explore whatever thing you have left to explore||
