Most people don’t fight him like that, and prefer a more… aggressive and face tanky place style, which does work, but is less consistent

Like using grubsong and nail master glory, or using spell twister, using heart…

for the firebats, he shoots 4 of them (the first one is high, the 2nd is low to the ground and so on). jump over the 2nd one then dash towards grimm and attack him before he teleports.

for the dive dash, you generally just want to jump and use wings to avoid it (u can also use dive, since it gives you immunity). alternatively if u want to do some damage here u can pogo him as soon as he hits the ground||

also, if you only use nail arts and spells for damage, you can spare the notches you'd use for qslash and strength||
