for xero, use shade soul on him since it easily gets double hits. u can also shriek him for good damage if hes above you. additionally, try to stick to one platform. dont unnecessarily move too much. nail arts, particularly dash slash and great slash are effective too. a lot of this applies to markoth but with slight differences: stay on the right wall throughout the fight and try not to use any soul in the first phase. instead save it for his 2nd phase where u can use shade soul to quickly end the fight. similar to xero dash slash works very well in the fight. if u want to be very safe, u can wait to attack markoth only during his shield spin. as for dodging, if you stay on the right wall, swords only spawn on the left so u just need to slide down a little/wall jump to dodge attacks||
