||ddark doesn't knock you back and it is generally a good idea to use it when you're in a tough spot. For marmu she's usually too fast and you can't really react quickly enough so once you're in a "bad spot" u usually just die. Ddark is still good though not as much of a "saving spell" against marmu||

||I think for general advice don't try to attack while dodging attacks that you struggle with. If it's an attack that you can easily avoid then sure try to get in some hits. But if it's an attack that you have difficulties with then first focus on dodging it and then try to deal a bit of damage if possible. For the second phase where half of the floor turns into spikes you can remove them by using descending dark on them which can be really helpful. For the platform phase try to stay in the middle and pretty much never go to the outermost platforms so don't chase them around too much but wait for them to come to you instead. Other than that is there any attack you specifically struggle with?||

I have a really bad ||Marmu|| problem. The corner strat hasn't helped much with me. She often rams into the side or above where I am and strikes me during my recovery frames. The best I can do is keep her away with my swings and hope I can react fast enough to hit her before she gets too close. Her ignoring my strike and going through my attack to hit me doesn't help.
