Other than that I'm not sure how much progression you have done so far. There is something that's connected to fungal wastes other than deepnest. Have you found that yet? If not then go explore there a little more. The way there is pretty obviously visible on your map||

||As I said there are multiple things you've done. If you have defeated soul master then you have done the main thing in city for now. Of course there are still items and stuff left so you can try and get all of that if you want but that won't give you all that much progression. There are new areas to discover if you explore Greenpath, deepnest so you can also ho check these out. If you really want as much progression as possible right now then I recommend checking out crossroads again||
