I'm not certain, my best intuition is that ||if something were to instantly overlap both you and your nail hitbox, it'd prioritize the parry but it could go either way. If it does, then you'd get the iframes normally, if not you'd take damage and get cancelled out of the swing animation before it could parry.||

If by debug console you mean the mod, no unfortunately theres nothing differentiating them visually. And I dont think theres any other mod for it. Someone could probably make one for that but I cant help with that for at least a week.

||This goes bqck to your first question mainly, so depends on the order of events. Mainly though, if you do already have iframes, either from a previous parry or taking damage, it doesnt matter if you're in the hitbox you can still parry the attack, its juzt a case of your attack being cancelled by the damage animation.||

Will say, if you're already using mods, might check out ParryKnight, ||makes it so you can only damage enemies with parries (The parry directly applies damage, other hits do nothing) and enemies with no parryable attacks can only be damaged with spells. ||there's an area somewhere near City of Tears, not saying where but you need an item there to get to the place in Ancient Basin that has the special ability||

||U need to go to city of tears and access the kings station then go a room below the kings station to access kingdoms edge then fall all the way down and go a very spesfic path that i won't spoil from here just know if u see giant greathoppers then TURN AWAY and go the other directon! ||
