The main thing with them is to ||stay close, dash through their ground attacks, go under their areal attack||, backing up will never yield good results

They are also very vulnerable to ||spells as they are a really big boss and since you can’t heal in the fight, you may as well spam them (you can use dreamnail to try to squeeze extra soul before the fight starts)(also the walk back to the boss is long, do anything you can to shorten it, it is worth it)||

Does it make you invincible to everything, just the enemy parried, or just the attack parried. Can it only be triggered with the nail? How is it triggered? Does it need to connect with the enemy? I couldn’t find any of these answers in the wiki, and nowhere else.

Very late response but seems your question wasn't fully answered, so:

||- There's not exactly a standard, I'd say pretty much just any enemy attack that acts like a nail swing, projectiles and contact damage never count to my knowledge.

• Exact time is .25 seconds.
• You get iframes similar to taking damage, so you can go through any hitbox except those marked to ignore invuln frames (For example, hazard spikes or acid pits. Anything you can't ddive through)
• Nail and nail arts, but this one was answered already.
• It's triggered when your nail hitbox overlaps with the hitbox of something that can be parried, there's no specific timing to it, at any point if the hitboxes collide then it parries. It can also happen in any direction you swing.
• There's no tie to it hitting the enemy themselves.
• Since someone else said something, you don't have to wait until a specific point in an animation or anything.
• In case you're curious, stalwart shell does NOT increase parry iframes, and ddive/ddark iframes use the same timer and check as parry iframes but I don't think ever conflict with each other. Hence anything dive goes through, parry iframes also go through.

Tips for parrying:

• Mark of Pride/Longnail and Quick Slash really help if you're intentionally going for parries.
• For some bosses, if you're trying to parry it head on, swinging up can help. For example PV's triple slash, it's hitboxes are really wide so if you parry straight towards the boss it'll knock you back and you'll likely get hit by the second or third swing or end up in it's contact hitbox. If you swing up you won't get knocked back and you might have time to go fully through the boss

Parries usually happen on accident and don't provide a huge benefit, they're best saved for weird challenges, or a "Fancy" strat if you're comfortable with a bosses patterns.||

||Anyway you could maybe leave the fight for later, but the main source of damage should be dive. Hit them a couple of times, get above them, dive. Dive also gives iframes so use that when you get in tough situations. Shade soul hits where you hit both are also very powerful. All in all, equip shaman stone + spell twister + grubsong and blast away in spell usage||

Hey does anyone know how to fix my achievements data, I think it got corrupted and I am unable to fix it by reinstalling multiple times

Just use ||descending dark more and try using abyss shriek|| when they are in the air, ||shadow cloak|| is so good in this battle

also be aware of the fact that if one ||brother|| is doing an attack, unless they're doing it in unison, the other is likely standing still. ||Shade cloak|| through the attack to attack the other while this is happening.
Also ||Quick slash|| is really useful
