Retry a bunch, ||you can dash over most of its attacks or downslash at it when u jump over. I could be talking abt the wrong one (???) correct me idk. but when he slashes from above to the ground is the only time u can dash out of the way and heal (it’s kinda tight though). Prioritize damaging the boss and use ur spell, when it shoots an orb you should also try jumping and dashing, hitting, and trying to dodge the orb||

||Whenever he shoots an orb, you should try to stick close to him to get hits in and possibly dodge. You can dodge along the ground to dodge the orbs, and if he tps onto the ground and shoots an orb it will go over you if you’re right next to him. Other attacks are when he summons 4 orbs, you can prioritize jumping over the orbs and maybe hit him. In that attack you’re able to heal if you stand in the middle (after jumping over) because when the orbs come back around they’ll fly over you. The fight is mostly staying on the ground and judging attacks, dashing along. Try to dash away from him when he begins the dive, he might do a fake out dive where he pretends to but does it somewhere else. Then jump over the shockwave||

||when u go down and around from the bench into the sanctum, instead of going up into the rest of the passage u can go left to the elevator. On the middle of the elevator shaft u can hit the left wall a bunch and it will break||

for the ||uppercut attack, you can either walk back a small distance and hit him while hes uppercutting, or you can pogo on him and while he's uppercutting you can hit him 2-3 times, which is more risky||

for the ||diving dash attack, just pogo on him||

for the ||cloak spikes, just position yourself in between the spikes and dash to him when its done to get a hit or two in||

and you have no problem with ||bats and pufferfish, right?||

I used glowing womb to focus on dodging|| But the best advise is knowing when is the proper time to heal. It's ||the same fight, but harder. So uh... just get beter as well ig? It's how i did it after 15 fricking tries...||

Since I've read ambiguous answer at best, I'll clarify. ||As mentioned he stops attacking if you dreamnail the other npcs in the room, in this state he will have specific dialogue and you'lle be able to kill him, he gives only one essence just like the others in the room, so do it only if you really care for the small bit of lore or just cause you want to idk||

||try to use nail arts in the first phase and spells in the second. You should try running nailmasters glory and soul eater somewhere, and this fight is one where you might even consider heavy blow (but it does depend on playing style). Marky is a boss where you should try your best not to attempt to get the most hits in but prioritize dodging, stay on one main platform until he gets close and then run to the other side or just try to dodge them off the wall. You could also run fury for ascended. Qslash + gelegy too.
The second phase will die in ~2 shrieks or a few double-hit shade souls, so fit in shaman or consider twister somewhere as well. Dash slash is great in the fight||

||you're probably just dashing really early. How close are you to the boss when you dash. If you are too far away then obviously it's going to be harder to correctly time a dash through him||

||both of his attacks have the same exact animation so it's a 50/50 on if i dash or stay still and i keep getting hit because i think it's one but it's the other||

first off its not worth ||overcharming with sharp shadow, you take double damage to use 1 extra notch. if you use something like jonis blessing (which i dont recommend), you technically get another 2 free notches. || in this case i would suggest going to get the charm ||quick slash, probably one of the best charms in the game||. i additionally dont recommend using ||sharp shadow, as its not all that useful for a boss that primarily teleports around.||

as for the gameplay itself, ||when he dashes down, just jump and you can pogo on his head when he does the second dash. if you want to be cool, you can jump and hit him on the way down, and then pogo him. as for the uppercut, simply dash in the same direction he shows up and you can get a nail hit in before he uppercuts. stand a bit to the left/right and the fireballs wont hit you when they rain down||

so a few more things to note ||you can shriek at the start of the balloon phase for good damage, its mostly about predicting when and staying close to the middle. you can also shriek at the end by dashing through the last set of 2 fireballs - the last one is always a stack 2 high. alternatively charge a dash slash and do that instead||
