if you're looking for tips I think my most helpful one is ||if you go right up next to some spikes on the floor, you can get rid of them by using shade cloak into them. You won't take damage, but the space you have a to do it in is a bit tight.||

Attack 1 (||dash uppercut||):

1. ||shade dash through nkg||
2. ||dash away from him (so, in the same direction that he dashes) and hit him twice before he does the uppercut||
3. ||jump and pogo him during his dash, then optionally turn around and hit his back||

Attack 2 (||dive dash||):
||jump and pogo him while he's on the ground and dash away from the flames||

Attack 3 (||flame pillars||):
||there's a lot of ways to do a lot of damage during this attack, but if you're just starting i recommend walking at a moderate speed across the arena and upslashing once or twice when you pass under the boss||

Attack 4 (||fire bats||):

1. ||stay on the other side of nkg and dodge the bats||
2. ||jump, wings, and dash over the bats (i never use this strat so idk if it works, apparently its inconsistent so dont use it)||
3. ||jump and dash between the upper two bats and the lower two bats, if you time it right you should be able to hit him a couple times without him teleporting away||

Attack 5 (||cloak spines||):
||just dodge it||

Attack 6 (||pufferfish||):
||jump as low as possible and then "circle back", other ppl can explain this better||

||If you get are able to dodge each attack individually you should be able to beat him fairly easily. PV gives just enough time between attacks for you to reset your abilities, don’t shade dash unless you absolutely need to. For his triple slash and dash attacks jump and pogo him. For his Magic swords that spawn from the ground attack jump and stay in between the lights. For his orb heal attack stay away from him till the first orb spawns and then continue attacking him or ddark and continue attacking him||

also staying calm and focusing in on what attacks they are doing, helps alot

This is my own theory: ||Herrah is related or the same species as The Hunter, and the reason I’m saying this is because they both have six eyes, The Hunter has six eyes in his cave when you approach him, and Herrah has six eyes on their mask. So my assumption is, they’re somewhat related to each other. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if they were brown recluse spiders since those spiders only have three sets of eyes instead of the usual four.||
