But ||markoth can be beaten very very consistently, like anything in p5, and you should aim for that consistency|| if you really want to have a shot at it, considering that you will play worst on real attempts due to moderate nerves

||nail arts are great because they deal 2.5x damage and have much longer range, so theyre low risk, high reward. and i suggest saving as much soul as you can for the second phase because of how simply unfair it is, shade soul can double hit him which deals a lot of damage very safely and quickly||

||pracitce ascended markoth and p5 markoth will become very easy, as he deals half the damage and you should have soul and maybe even lifeblood from soul tyrant||

Being good at ||soul tyrant can really help to fight markoth||

Starting the fight with ||full health and bonus soul is invaluable ||

||and getting really good at zote is basically neccesary since tou often enter him with low health from markoth, and you cant heal during markoth because you need to save soul for his secodn phase||

strength, shaman stone, qs, spell twister because i like doing as much damage as possible at all times, you can modify this as you wish||

try to ||stay mostly on one platform and dodge the knives simply by moving a small amount instead of jumping around, and try to mostly get hits in where you either dont have to move much or when he does his spinning shield attack (make sure to learn the timing of his shield)||

||I'm a lil too greedy i think i try to get every possible hit and like 5 hits with pogoing every oppertunity i see, I usually take the shield attack to use spells cuz I have a very Nail forward playing style||

||yeah dont worry i also have a very nail forward style, but you unfortunately CANNOT get greedy with markoth and i honestly wouldnt even attempt to pogo him... you have to play really really slow with him and very passive, i really hate this boss bc of it||

||my main problem is that i keep getting tripped up by the shields especially in the second part of the fight, where i try to get close to hit him but instead either don't hit cuz shield, or even get hit by the shield||

||okay so thats a good setup honestly, minus sharp shadow (i feel like sharp shadow is quite situational and is only good for learning how to use shade dashes, after that its not as necessary, especially with markoth as you shouldnt be having to dash through him a lot) MoP is good for markoth so ill leave that up to u

and replace MoP with shaman stone for more damage BUT its your choice||
