||Keep in mind that that's still a fairly risky strat compared to others. It deals a lot of damage and is fun though it might not be the best if you're actually struggling with the fight. In that case I'd recommend to first learn to dodge the attacks normally and deal damage and then later you can add stuff like shrieks to increase damage output by a little more||

i can beat phase 1 with full health, but phase 2 destroys me, I'm trying to do the gslash strat but i keep messing up and get hit||

there isnt much more you can do except for maybe ||ddarking||

I would recommend going to paths that looks like this in the ||map|| so you don't get confused in the future, also it seems like ||you need to fight something in kingdom's edge and royal waterways if you haven't already||

||Hornet 2 strategy by DDX2000#6811
Hornet 2 is a unique fight for a few reasons. The immediately obvious one being the small arena, and the fact she takes knockback.
What isn’t special about Hornet, is how her attacks are influenced by the players positioning. You aren’t supposed to just evade her movement, you are also meant to control her movement and gain an upper hand.

Getting/keeping the upper hand against Hornet 2:
-First things first. Hornet chases you; and has very little arena control (outside of her spikes. That’s why they’re the move TC added) Take advantage of this by taking control of the center of the arena.
you have no advantage when backed into a corner - save for a quick heal or dodge.
__you have every advantage when she’s in a corner. The best she can do is dash out of it, in which you’ll force her to dash through your attacks. The worst she could do is any other move, especially ones that have no horizontal movement.
Hit her against the wall to limit her options.
Spikes, we just talked about these - her primary form of arena control. Spells will clear most/all of these, and they’ll hurt her too.
Staggers: yes, you could heal, but understand that Hornet staggers based on hits- not hp. If you’re more than half Hp, I’d recommend using a spell or at least a nail hit or two on her stagger.
Jump dash: dash under her or make her do it into a corner.
String explosion: Don’t get caught by it, stand under her and prepare to punish her insolence.
Needle throw: this is good for you. If she’s backed into a wall when she does it- you can heal at the other end of the arena for free, or slap her in the face while she stands still.

Generally speaking, learn to recognize what attacjs she’s about to line up next, and don’t let her catch you with a walking animation because you didn’t pay attention.||

Tbh I don't use walls too much, it's only this specific boss I love what ddx did, cuz it goes into a level of understanding about the boss deeper than just the general attacks

The attacks are like 1/3 of the wall unlike all others

It's just a super cool wall and I love to send it lots
