No, the ||way that whispering roots work (the dream tree things) is that when you use the dream nail on them, they release a bunch of essence things that you collect, and each one gives you 1 essence. if you collect all the essence particles for the tree, it grows or smth. ||

guys i just got ||pure nail||

so i saw the speedrun route for ||watcher knights where you get max soul and kill one of them before the fight via chandelier and then spam descending dark, get soul and repeat until either they die or you die and i wanted to know if it was somewhat effective if i tried to put it into a normal playthrough||?
