||Like you, I was using Shade Dash for their lunge and triple slash attacks.
But you can pogo the lunge attack.
For the focus attack, stay right outside the big circle and the explosions won't spawn on you most times.
Ground pillars, either dash and move left or right to adjust your position or jump and adjust your position in midair.
Void Tendrils, double jump, dash and pogo or dash to your side of the arena.
For the projectile attack, just Shade Dash through them.||

||Unfortunately I was expecting this to happen Sharp shadow sucks Sharp shadow is, in terms of combat, a crutch and a detriment. It has its uses in platforming, however in combat it often serves as a disadvantage, builds bad habits, and is frankly unneeded.

But it’s free damage No it isn’t. strength does 32 damage sshadow does 21. You can’t attack and dash at the same time, so whenever you opt to dash through a boss you lose an opportunity that could’ve been spent hitting the boss and are put further from the boss, making retaliation more difficult. Furthermore, a dash takes 0.3 seconds to complete. Almost exactly the same time as it takes for a nail swing with quick slash. Due to how powerful and widely used quick slash and unbreakable strength are, I would consider it fair to consider those as the nail dps. This means that sharp shadow, when used perfectly, loses out on 11 damage every 1.5 seconds, or 7 damage per second. Another option would be using dashmaster to boost its damage to match unbreakable strength, meaning you can either pay 2 notches for 7 less dps, or 4 notches to equalize it. To put into perspective how much 7 dps is, you could kill nightmare king Grimm in 3.5 minutes if you did that much constant damage. Except you’re not doing that much damage, you’re losing it. So no, sharp shadow isn’t “free damage”, in fact, the less often you use it, the more damage you will do
But I can dash through big bosses and avoid hits Which is, of course, a crutch. Every boss that can be dashed through with sharp shadow can be dashed through without. It’s purely a matter of playing more skillfully and timing your dash to avoid being hit. Of course, there are very particular scenarios in which sharp shadow does give an advantage. For example, dashing through god tamer beasts roll, as you can’t punish the attack regardless, though all those circumstances are highly situational and often still not enough damage to be worth using.||

Pogo is technically better, if you practice that strat and slowly incorporate it where possible, you can gain 2-3 nail hits depending on each attack, it also make you end up nearer to the boss, meaning you can get some more hits in before ||dashing through the next attack||, a combination would work for you imo

The longer duration does not harm new players' damage at all and the damage it deals might also help. About the last point, yes it is a crutch. Its use is to make something easier but it isnt needed. However making shade dashing easier makes it very much a good charm for new players who arent that good at using shade dash yet and need the crutch to time it correctly. Yes the charm isnt very good after you learn to use shade dash well, but for the new players of hashtag help, sshadow can very well be a usable charm.||

I practiced them both so much but one after the other is just so rough

With || uumuu how are you supposed to hit the jellies so they hit her and not you, every time I try it hits me too and I already have low health from zote since when I do manage to get him I’m down to like 4 health and no soul ||

||lure uumuu closer to the jellies so they have less distance to cover. if you can manage to get the jellies in the exact same position as uumuu, you can hit them with a spell (like shade soul) to detonate them both. sometimes it's worth taking one damage from the lightning just to deal a critical killing blow to the boss||

||Try to keep uumuu towards the bottom of the arena. Then when jellyfish appear sometimes there is just not a good opportunity to align uumuu and the jellyfish. Only go for one if they are well aligned and not too far apart. I also recommend using shade soul to hit them. Your nail works fine but shade soul is safer and you can stay further away.||

It would be helpful if you were a little more precise. It's difficult to give tips if you just say the boss you struggle with. Is there any specific attack you struggle to avoid for example? Generally for the fight I recommend ||only healing when the boss is staggered and only jumping or dashing specifically to avoid an attack and not randomly jumping around. Playing too aggressively can also be bad so make sure you know which attack they are doing and how to dodge it before you actually run at them and start attacking||

||I would never recommend heavy blow. If you are playing really safe and go for more of a spell build I guess it works but I personally would still not use it. Other than that what you are using seems fine for a spell build altho I would overcharm with eater on the last notch which should give you a lot more space for charms than what you have right now.||

||For sly don't play too aggressively. Only go for 1 or 2 hits in between every one of his attacks and then focus on dodging the next one again. Healing is possible outside of staggers but really difficult to do consistently and not get hit right after so I recommend only doing it on staggers. Generally for the fight you should use the walls. Of course don't just camp on them but when you are close to a wall then use it to dodge an attack. Also use the iframes that ddark gives you. If you for example are coming down from a wall and don't know how to do it without getting hit or are ever in a situation where it seems like you can't avoid the next attack just use ddark and the iframes it gives you to avoid it and get out of the way.
For the second phase I know you said you can do it with sharp shadow but that's a really tedious and not great way. Instead I recommend trying nailarts and spells. At the start of the phase if you have soul you can take one step to the side and then immediately shriek which deals a ton of damage. After that start charging a nailart and wait for him to come to you. Then dash away to dodge his spinning attack, turn around and either dash or great slash and repeat the process. Whenever you have soul you should use it for spells, healing is never a good option in the second phase. It should only take 5 great slashes and even less if you use spells to finish the phase||
