@hushed drum ||they always go in ur direction when u hit them. I'd recommend using Shade Soul insteaf of shriek, it hits both oblobbles. If u need to heal, go in corners if the'yre at the other side of the arena only, it allows u to have a good reaction time if its attacks are abt to hit u. The second oblobble will heal at the start of the second phase, so try hit them both so the 2nd oblobble is as weak as possible during phase 2. You could use steady body right before the fight, that helped me but it depends on ur playstyle||

there||try not to get sandwiched between them, use dive if needed(to stall for their attack). to get out of the sandwich, you can:
dash under jump attack
jump over(pogo and dash if needed) after they do the sword attack
when youre not sandwiched, try to get as close to them as possible. they will attack one at a time, so dash towards them after their attack. you can easily dodge everything by just backing away or diving.||

Erm so I mean, I'd probably play it safe, get some upgrades before fighting particularly hard bosses ||I'd probably get some more masks, focus on some shards and stuff. Maybe get some lifeblood aswell from cocoons, and also use charms such as fragile heart for extra protection. Other than that, id rush some good charms such as quickslash and upgrades such as d dark or shade soul. Also make sure to use fragile charms, as I mean, if you die you die, there's no reason to be afraid about them breaking||

||Hornet 2 strategy by DDX2000#6811
Hornet 2 is a unique fight for a few reasons. The immediately obvious one being the small arena, and the fact she takes knockback.
What isn’t special about Hornet, is how her attacks are influenced by the players positioning. You aren’t supposed to just evade her movement, you are also meant to control her movement and gain an upper hand.

Getting/keeping the upper hand against Hornet 2:
-First things first. Hornet chases you; and has very little arena control (outside of her spikes. That’s why they’re the move TC added) Take advantage of this by taking control of the center of the arena.
you have no advantage when backed into a corner - save for a quick heal or dodge.
__you have every advantage when she’s in a corner. The best she can do is dash out of it, in which you’ll force her to dash through your attacks. The worst she could do is any other move, especially ones that have no horizontal movement.
Hit her against the wall to limit her options.
Spikes, we just talked about these - her primary form of arena control. Spells will clear most/all of these, and they’ll hurt her too. Spells work great for this.
Staggers: yes, you could heal, but understand that Hornet staggers based on hits- not hp. If you’re more than half Hp, I’d recommend using a spell or at least a nail attack on her stagger.
Jump dash: dash under her or make her do it into a corner.
String explosion: Don’t get caught by it, stand under her and prepare to punish her insolence.
Needle throw: this is good for you. If she’s backed into a wall when she does it- you can heal at the other end of the arena for free, or slap her in the face while she stands still.

Generally speaking, learn to recognize what attacjs she’s about to line up next, and don’t let her catch you with a walking animation because you didn’t pay attention.||
