||Practice him in Hall of Gods and also Markoth if you take a lot of damage there. Use descending dark a lot to dodge many of Zote's attacks. The rest kind of just comes with practice. He seems very unpredictable and you'll just get better at predicting his attacks if you practice more. Is there any specific attack you don't know how to avoid?||

then why did you ask for help for ||zote Anyways for markoth use mainly nailarts (specifically great and dashslash) and don't chase him around but wait for him to come to you. You can heal every time he spins his shield but I don't recommend using spells at all in the first phase. Try keeping as much soul as possible for the second phase to then spam shade soul in the right moment while trying to get as many double hits as possible||

There’s four tricks I know that help but I’m not sure how to execute them. ||spirit spell in Greenpath to get to hornet faster, shade skip to blue lake, pogo into watcher spire, acid skip to monomon||

I’m trying just a pace route right now (with none of the above) but any tips for future attempts would be great

||The acid skip is quite hard but theres two ways, from the crossroads dash and then wings or cdash. You can do greenpath skip easier by luring and pogoing a squit in the room. For the shade skip you should watch some speedrun to see where and how to lure the shade. But you dont really need any of these skips, if you know the map and dont do anything unnecessary 5 hours is plenty. The squit skip is fine and easy tho||

Just focus on the spacing of them to figure it out, sometimes he'll do a cyclone and you should pogo that, and when he does a great slash he heavily telegraphs it to get the fuck out the way||

First off, play it safe, ||nail arts|| are amazing at hitting him without putting yourself in danger, but that does mean that you can be attacking him constantly, as sometime, he will just be in a bad position for you to be able to hit him, second off, ||shriek should not be used, use shade soul instead, unless you see the perfect shriek opportunity you are likely to not hit the whole spell, maybe take damage in the process, so going for double hit shade souls is definitely more worth it, using that you can make the second phase really short
Thirdly health, in pantheons he only has 680 health, that is actually really small, phase two only has 340, that is 4 double hit shade souls, so the tldr is, as long as you have ressources (either health or soul) the fight will be quick, as you can either trade health for damage and damage tank, or trade soul for 80 free damage, that said if either one of your ressources gets low then it is a big problem
So the absolute 100% consistent strat to beat markoth is to get very good at soul tyrant, and using the 4 lifeblood you get at the bench right before, that way you can somewhat easily get into markoth with full soul and maybe more than your max health
And then you use something like heart to get even more ressource and you simply beat the boss with sheer numbers ||
