besides that, u can use strength and it will put your nail damage at 20 (essentially the same as pure nail without strength).

||well, there's two ways to 'cancel' ur nail. one is using fireballs in between nail hits, the other is turning around and hitting nail hits again to go past the animation time when using quickslash. that's only the basics, tho... you'll probably have more luck discussing this stuff in the hk speedrunning discord|| hope this helps

||tbh all of the remaining fights are non-trivial, to say the least. you'll just have to grind mostly, but i can give tips on specific bosses. you should definitely first try out (gruz, vfk, mawlek, champ), hive knight, broken vessel, collector, both guardians, soul tyrant, xero, and gorb||

beyond that uhh, comes down to some general pointers and tips on specific bosses. keep grinding and having fun, don't worry about the time taken no one is judging you to be sure

I keep falling to the spikes on ||gruz mother|| 🫠and I can't just spam ||spell|| like on ||pantheon||😔 platforming always my biggest enemy

for that, just ||dash out from one platform to the next, the spacing between them is somewhat adjusted to the dash. so if gruz is charging towards you or approaching in the other attack, just dash away, and maybe adjust yourself near the middle of the platform ur now standing on. honestly it will take a bit of practice, just keep going at it and you'll get it very soon ||

||god tamer|| should be fairly easy too, its just a matter of ||pogo until you have soul to use ddark, and use it straight away||. Then just keep ||pogoing until the beast starts to roll away or the tamer jumps towards you||

||qslash, strength, shaman|| are the usual important stuff to have. Then just choose whatever you want for the rest

I'd use ||strength, qslash, shaman, steady body and nailmaster's glory/grubsong. Use glory for the part with markoth and gsong for the other half. You can use qfocus instead of shaman or any one or two notch charms for the last two if you like. This version is just my personal preference||

Nothing is needed. ||Shaman helps a lot if you use spells. If you don't then you should try using them more but you can also go for something else if you are not too comfortable with them yet||

@lyric locust I missed a bunch but if you still need help ||there's a strat called "juggling" with white defender and dung defender. When he turns into a ball, if he moving slow enough horizontally, you can upstrike him with your nail when hes about to land on you and dash to catch up with his speed. when he hits a wall, just turn around and keep going the other way. If you mess up and he bounces too much the attack continues. It's difficult but works very well when practiced. If you're on your first playthrough I don't recommend it.||
