2. you can heal if you stand in the middle during the return on the traverse
3. dash to the side for his dive
4. for the homing orbs, just rush him(the orbs will redirect behind you into the ground if youre far away enough). if hes on the ground, there a safe spot right under him||

Dash through his shockwave attack, and try to space yourself between the discs if he does either of those attacks. Usually, you're too close to him for him to use those attacks though. He's not a hard boss, just big and intimidating because he hits for 2 masks.||

I struggle with || dealing damage to him since he spams me so I mostly focus on dodging and whenever I get close to him he teleprlts somewhere else so it takes me like a solid 3 minutes just to knock him out ONCE || also for || millbelle where in the city of tears? I feel like I've explored the whole place but I can't seem to find her ||

||soul tyrant is a very quick boss, you usually only have enough time to get 1 hit on him whenever there's an opening, you can jump inbetween the orbs when he spawns 6 of them around him and flies across the screen, and hit him at the peak of every jump. His teleport patterns are quite predictable, usually teleporting from one side of the arena to the other in roughly mirrored positions, if you're quick, you can get under where he's going to teleport and slap him once or twice. If you're goated, you can jump up before he does his ground slam attack and hit him once before quickly dashing away. during his floor sweeping attack where he just charges across the floor of the arena, you can pogo his head and dash to keep up and hit him twice, 3 if you're fast. It's quite a long fight, so try not to get discouraged.||

When he spams the orbs and shoots them at you try to make them touch the floor by dashing or walking under instead of jumping over. They will immediately disappear once they touch the floor but if you jump over they still follow you around and can stack up which you wanna avoid||

trust me you will never die to him in ||pantheon|| ever again

I have already talked about that fight so fucking much I have written down my thoughts in one big message

First off, play it safe, ||nail arts|| are amazing at hitting him without putting yourself in danger, but that does mean that you can be attacking him constantly, as sometime, he will just be in a bad position for you to be able to hit him, second off, ||shriek should not be used, use shade soul instead, unless you see the perfect shriek opportunity you are likely to not hit the whole spell, maybe take damage in the process, so going for double hit shade souls is definitely more worth it, using that you can make the second phase really short
Thirdly health, in pantheons he only has 680 health, that is actually really small, phase two only has 340, that is 4 double hit shade souls, so the tldr is, as long as you have ressources (either health or soul) the fight will be quick, as you can either trade health for damage and damage tank, or trade soul for 80 free damage, that said if either one of your ressources gets low then it is a big problem
So the absolute 100% consistent strat to beat markoth is to get very good at soul tyrant, and using the 4 lifeblood you get at the bench right before, that way you can somewhat easily get into markoth with full soul and maybe more than your max health

for some general tips every time you use ||spells ||you should absolutely use the ||"quick cast||" key and not the "focus" key
Using the correct key makes the ||spell ||activate half a second earlier, which you don’t want to miss out on
and for a late game charm build ||shaman/quick slash/strength is a base line then you can add stuff like heart/spell twister/any combination of grubsong, nmg, dream wielder, sbody to finish; you can also replace one of the first 3 charm with MoP||

||Getting/keeping the upper hand against Hornet 2:
-First things first. Hornet chases you; and has very little arena control (outside of her spikes. That’s why they’re the move TC added) Take advantage of this by taking control of the center of the arena.
you have no advantage when backed into a corner - save for a quick heal or dodge.
__you have every advantage when she’s in a corner. The best she can do is dash out of it, in which you’ll force her to dash through your attacks. The worst she could do is any other move, especially ones that have no horizontal movement.
Hit her against the wall to limit her options.
Spikes, we just talked about these - her primary form of arena control. Spells will clear most/all of these, and they’ll hurt her too. Dive/Vengeful Spirit work great for this.
Staggers: yes, you could heal, but understand that Hornet staggers based on hits- not hp. If you’re more than half Hp, I’d recommend using a spell on her stagger if possible.
Jump dash: dash under her or make her do it into a corner.
String explosion: Don’t get caught by it, stand under her and prepare to punish her insolence.
Needle throw: this is good for you. If she’s backed into a wall when she does it- you can heal at the other end of the arena for free, or slap her in the face while she stands still.||

Generally speaking, learn to recognize what attacjs she’s about to line up next, and don’t let her catch you with a walking animation because you didn’t pay attention.
