I think the best you can do is watch a bit of the world record and maybe copy a few of their strats. For charms what they used is ||strength, mop, qfocus, soul catcher|| so that's probably the best.

the WR uses ||strength, quick focus, mark of pride, catcher. if u got to 270 i dont think u rly need tips tho. regardless

zotes curse and heavy zotes are the highest priority to kill since they either take away soul or make healing very difficult.

other than that, with quick focus u should be able to regularly heal after u take a bit of damage. try to go to a corner and kill zotelings nearby that may damage u before healing||

First off, play it safe, ||nail arts|| are amazing at hitting him without putting yourself in danger, but that does mean that you can be attacking him constantly, as sometime, he will just be in a bad position for you to be able to hit him, second off, ||shriek should not be used, use shade soul instead, unless you see the perfect shriek opportunity you are likely to not hit the whole spell, maybe take damage in the process, so going for double hit shade souls is definitely more worth it, using that you can make the second phase really short

Before starting here is some of the minumins i recommend before trying it, its one of the latest challenges of the game so its not a good idea to try it earlier
All shade spells and abilites, pure nail or coiled nail, almost all charms and notches, 8 mask and 2 vessels but better if have all
Charms:
There are a lot of build that can work in ToF but generally i can recommend the next ones:
The one i use : UBStrength, Quick Slash, MoP, Longnail
UBStregth, Quick Slash, MoP, NMG, Grubsong or dream wielder
Shaman Stone, Soul Catcher, Quick focus, MoP
Quick Focus, Strength, Shaman, Spell twister
Also any other combinations can work, that can work good, but there are also some good options like Sharp Shadow, Shape of Unn Steady body and some other charms can work to you
General Tips:
Remember that the ToF its an endurace test, you need to be patient and dont play extreamly agressive, always use the heal openings and try to stay at most mask as possible, healing between waves and enemy spawns its your best option but also going to corners in easy enemys can be good||

||Wave 1: This wave dont have anything special, the most annoying can be the primal aspids, remember that using abyss shierk or nail arts are a really good idea specially great slash, dont try to spend your soul here save it for next waves
Wave 2: Starts with the two platforms spring up, followed by spikes covering the floor, let the sturdy fool die in the spikes and kill the primal aspid, nothing more
Wave 3: Starts with the ceiling drops down to about 75% of arena height, take the battle obble with care, dont do unncessary moves and take the furious vengeflys one by one
Wave 4: Starts with the platforms and spikes go away, the important ones here are the belflys, you can ignore the heavy fools, dont try to kill the belfy just run to one of the corner and do one jump if needed
Wave 5: Starts with the ceiling rises, returning the arena to its original state, this are just some deat loodle its a good wave to heal they arent a big problem
Wave 6: Starts with four platforms rise up, the best you can do here is stay on the ground until you kill some of the death loodles, then heal or kill the other ones
Wave 7: Starts with the platforms go away, returning the arena to its original state, another 3 death loodle same as wave 5
Wave 8: Starts with four platforms stacked in a column rise up in the centre and spikes cover the floor, here is the first big wave, its important that you could get here with full masks, the biggest problem are the primal aspids, use shade soul if shaman stone its equipped or abyss shierk, but better if they come close to you great slash, for the garpedes you can just stay to the top if you dont move the top one its not going to hit you, also you can dream nail it||

||Wave 9: Starts with platforms and spikes go away, returning the arena to its original state, this round its a mix of enemies, try to heal on the first ones leaving one alive and healing safely, the biggest problem here are the mantis, soul twisters and soul warrior, for mantis nail arts and descending dark are a really good idea also for the flying ones abyss shierk can be the best if u dont have problems with the soul, the same apply for the soul twisters, and for soul warrior i like to hit him with great slash every time i can
Wave 10: Starts with six platforms rise up and spikes cover the floor, the volt twisters here its your main objetives, using abyss shierk its probably your best option but if you dont have enough soul just use nail arts and normal hits
Wave 11: Starts with the platforms and spikes go away returning the arena to its original state, here its another soul warrior but with a soul twister, just focus the soul twister first and you should be good
Wave 12: Starts with the walls close in, shrinking the arena floorspace to about half, try to use one nail arts while the enemies spawn, and descending dark its your best weapon for this round, about brooding mawlek try to shade cloak into him a lot but taking care of the "hands" personally i like to use abyss shierk getting close with the shade dash while he shoots the orange bubbles that fall from the sky or using cyclone slash, also descending dark into him works really well||

||Wave 13: Starts with the walls close in even more, keeping The Knight stuck in place for several seconds. Then they expand to 3 Garpedes worth of space, just go right, then to the middle again right and again to the middle and remember you can dream nail that going to be really useful for next wave
Wave 14: Starts with the walls spread out to half of the arena's size and spikes cover the floor, this is probably the hardest wave and the one where most people gets stuck, try to hit pogos a lot for winged fools squits and obbles, for the primal aspid probably your best option its one great slash or shade soul, if at some point you cant handle one abyss shierk should clear it easy, just play it really save, its really important that you get here with full soul and masks, that way this wave should be not that bad just dont take risks
Wave 15: Starts with the ceiling drops down to about halfway, just dont get nervous and dont fall, use great slash or shade soul for the squits
Wave 16: Starts with the walls and ceiling return to their original state and 3 platforms rise up, this round can be chaotic, try to stay at the midddle platform and probably dont try to kill the loodle, let they suicide, its even possible to dreamnail or healing in this wave so just dont move a lot and use descending dark if you think they are going to hit you
Wave 17: The platforms and spikes go away, returning the arena to its original state, this is the last wave and the longest one, its a mix of all the enemies we previusly saw, use same tips for all of them, nail arts and descending dark are really good for this round, and dont try to heal to much that can be a bad idea, if you have problems with the last boss God Tamer ask for individually tips or wall im not going to cover it here||
