I usually pogo PV's dive. If you pogo too long (usually 3) he may hop. If you can't see you likely won't react in time.

okay so ive hit a new unrelated problem lmfao
I attempted to run ModInstaller.exe while the game was open just thinking that I could check the readme of a mod. The problem was I didn't realise that its gonna attempt to reinstall the API, after launching it claimed to have installed the API fine but it gave me a popup after pressing 'Ok' saying:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately
The file "C:\temp\hollow_knight_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll" is in use by another program"
I closed Hollow Knight and attempting to open the ModInstaller.exe again it would give me the same popup but saying that the assembly-csharp "already exists".
My first idea was to verify the integrity of the game files and just reinstall the mods, unfortunately all that did was uninstall the mods and keep the issue, blocking me from reinstalling them.
Pressing Continue on the window will give me a fullscreen size window of the application where the only button says 'Manually' and clicking on that will bring up file explorer and allow you to select a file. Selecting Assembly-CSharp.dll will say that it has successfully installed it but it seems to have no effect on the game.
Uninstalling and reinstalling seemed to have no effect, removing the already existing Assembly-CSharp just means it can't find the game files, and suggests checking that the game is installed.
I've tried downloading a new version of ModInstaller through the ;i link but no progress was made.

Ok, so I recently convienced my friend to play hollow knight, and he's still really early in the game. He says he likes it so far, but apparently he's also having huge issues with input delay, even on keyboard controls. He says he can handle it for now, but it's gonna make late game content a nightmare for him. (He doesn't realise how hard and fast it gets.) I'm pretty sure that his cpu is a little underpowered. Anyone know how to fix it? I really want him to have the best experience he can. I'm sorry if I'm asking for something impossible, but is there anything that can be done? Can someone, like optimise the game to need less cpu?
I know what I'm asking for is unrealistic, but I'll really take what I can get.

You could edit the jsons of the dumped fsms and then it'd use those over the ones from assets
Outputting code for modifying the FSM at runtime would be cool

Yeah it outputs code not the asset data like the level editor so you can just copy paste it into the mod
