Just starting to learn to draw, this is literally day 1, does this look like a good general progression of steps? Using Krita, picked myself up the cheapest Wacom I could find so I do have access to pressure settings, but I'm just using the default basic preset brush.

Also, does anyone have any things they wish they'd known when just starting? Thanks in advance.

well, one top thing i wish i knew earlier is just how powerful krita is. I'd strongly suggest searching up how to use stufff like the fill & transform tools or just going on the manual!
and 2: you don't have to super polish and perfect everything just because it's digital and you can, just focus on the overall look!

Now this is halfway between a broad question and a stream of consciousness but like... I'm tentatively happy with the right arm but I just have no idea what to do now. I think I'm looking at it like "ah yes. I draw the head. From the circles. How do I turn the circles into a head." Open to suggestions on how to proceed. The proportions are off on the head and a couple other places, I know that much, but I also don't really know how to use boxes or circles to establish those ratios properly.

I have never drawn a person before so I generally have no idea what I'm doing it, I'm just winging it as I go and twisting my arms into strange shapes as references while hoping for the best
