A lategame boss for a project of mine, NO SUN. The final protector of the withering remains of a godqueen who futiley attempted to prevent the end of her dominion by swallowing it in a ritual of stagnancy. Rather than retain the status and prosperity of her people as the apocalyptic sunless era began, it thrust them into a curse of transiency, caught between existence and unexistence. Raenadis' will holds firm, in spite of the influences around her, sworn to her lord. Her defeat gives the Flicker ability mandatory for reaching some of the endgame regions, claimed from the corpse of the godqueen she protects.
She is an agile swordstress type encounter, that advances in bizarre ways as the fight progresses. Namely, figments of her will begin to appear around the arena striking at things that arent there, representing alternative permutations of the same encounter that are occasionally targeted at the player. During some scripted sequences, the darkness around the arena will encroach and she will make rushing strikes inward from the haze before fizzling out of existence repeatedly.

A little thing about sunna (yellow jester) is that she has a little bit of a difficulty keeping her tail in the air. So it usually just lays on the floor. This, obviously, can also mess it up more as someone might step on it accidentally. Which, she may also not always feel as she has lost some feeling in the tail. Hence again, the bit of difficukty keeping it up. Her tail is like that due to over usage from doing tricks, so she cant even hold her own weight from the tail anymore. Its also from a different accident i havent fully planned yet, but it involves her left eye too
And since she likes wearing capes, her tail might be under it. That can also lead to accidental stepping on it. Cause people never really think twice if they step on clothing copared to lets say, accidentally sit on their cats tail

Ok but serious talk time. A lot of the time when I make creatures, I make them with the idea that not all of them are evil, even when they look the part. The Wraith is different. It just functions off of the one instinct it has. It sees something, and it must kill. There is no thought. There is no reason. It feels nothing.

i really like the overall rectangular silhouette, with the coat on this character seems to be quite heavy but under it they’re slim, which makes me think that they have a great deal of secrets with the coat covering up that much. The angular shape of their hair(?) contrasts with the rounder lines of their body which i find appealing
