notes on body porportions for chibis

super super chibis basically got TK's body shape -- tiny legs, longer round torso w/ massive head to body ratio. so standard baby shapes

in general i've noticed that chibis usually have pretty thick legs

yeah this is pretty similar to what i try to do bc i find the super squished chibis hard to work with

it might be worth noting that the limbs all sort of form a teardrop/triangle since they all end up with a wide base (hands/feet)

so with your character, you could try making the shoes and sleeves bulkier

hey so, i was wondering if anyone could help me solve this problem in photoshop? i was sketching miles but when i removed the background it showed patches of white in the sketch, but i never added white to this layer, so im not sure how this happened, anybody know a way to get just the sketch out? i really dont want to erase a whole third of it

i'm guessing what happened is that your erase was actually just adding white color instead of actually erasing

if you turn the contrast way up, you can probably auto-select the nonwhite parts and cut them out, then you can set the white parts Multiply to remove the white bg
