I think it's funny that the duplication glitch doesn't immediately duplicate unique items, like City Crest. The game knows that I have it in my inventory, but once I use it, it duplicates the item after I use it, meaning I can pick it up again back at False Knight.

Save soul for 2nd phase. Once 2nd phase comes around, get far on either side of Markoth and fire Shade Souls for double hits.

Make sure to charge Great Slashes periodically to get in hits while he's flying around. Always go in for 2 - 4 hits while he's shield-spinning.

Once you get used to where to stand for the beast's spit attack it isn't too bad, and then making sure you keep track of when the stiffy dude jumps to swing at you. You can actually get a nice headstart at the very start when the fight begins, the stiffy dude jumps at your current location before the beast moves, so you can stand right at beast's face, wait for stiffy to jump, and then get out the way of its swing. Then do good hits at stiffy and beast

The fresh start is lowk satisfying, I wasn't far into the game at all on my computer anyway though so it's not like I'm losing a lot of progress
