Marmu is actually one of the more complicated fights
Upslashing becomes a useless strategy because of the crystal floor, so you have to resort to using mostly sideslash
Open the fight by either saving your soul for future ddarks, or if you have excess shriek her. You can then either ddark when she first rolls at you or upslash because the crystal floors have not activated yet. After you upslash jump and sideslash her. Ddark when she’s coming back to you and hit the crystal floors to make them flip back to normal. You can keep doing this sideslash+ddark as long as you have enough soul, and since marmu has little hp you should have enough ddarks before the fight ends.

There’s more nuance to it than this but this is the general idea
