And AbsRad is my favorite full gear fight

Actually fwg is a pretty similar challenge to R5 according to people that have done both. But most agree R5 takes more mental fortitude.

Yes. There are a bit under 300 recorded clears of R5, and most should be, so give or take 350 clears.
It's an incredibly respected challenge and it will give you a new perspective into the game
But yeah as grey said "good player" is subjective

Idk the issue is I usually get a very weird kind of imposter syndrome about games. I am not used to being good at games at all, and that carried over to hk. So I find it really tough to be proud of what I am doing. I also just didn't have anyone to celebrate with when I did p5 for the first time, so I never understood that it was such a big deal

||I would rank karmellita like the second hardest in the game cuz every other heart is easy, but LL is just nightmarishly hard if you are looking at it from a hitless pov for me. She needs MUCH more focus than karmellita for me if I am trying to be perfect. Just the learning curve to LL is faster, but she is NOT simpler than karmellita||

||karmellita is like..really easy to hitless for me. I can do her hitless on accident because its like nkg to me. Be patient and its fine, but for LL you have to constantly respond, and her adaptability borders absolute radiance for me sometimes||

||I think its a similar situation to how people find nkg harder than pv. When people do nkg, they haven't had exposure to that level of speed yet. So its more of a whiplash than a fight for the first multiple hours sometimes. But by the time you meet pv, most people have fought nkg. So they are used to insane speeds that pv is SLIGHTLY faster at. So pv ends up taking less time than nkg for people just because the learning curve isn't as steep. Just like how you are trained to fight Lace 2 times before facing her in the end while karmellita is fully new.||

I think the main thing is at a certain point nkg lets you kinda turn your brain off becaues it is just..a bit too obvious. Pv does just still need you to use your brain atleast a little bit no matter the experience

The main difference between PV and NKG is that NKG has all attacks tied to your position (except bats and pillars but those are meh)
PV can teleport anywhere and do any attack except parry and trips

ok i read the convo back, sk true final boss is extremely consistent with exactly 1 super rare pattern thats dubious (and is free with iframes); but getting to that consistency is very difficult, there's a lot of nuance to the boss i think and it definitely takes upwards of 10h to actually learn everything about it

Regarding when, it depends on positioning a lot so its hard to give you an exact tell, you mostly have to feel it out, but you generally want to time it so youre dashing through the sword should there be one on your height ofcourse, heres a clip for reference
