In Markoth the boss just forces you to play patiently doesn't add any variety to the fight like to optimally play against Markoth RNG is to play patiently

Think of how many people hate gpz for "being RNG". Now gpz especially good of a boss, but it's similar to Markoth.
The RNG offers a lot of adaptation as well, it's just even harder to see well.
