i think sharp shadow is the bigges tbeginners trap for pv. it makes it so much harder bc if you jsut learn the parries youll have your shade cloak in case of a mistake. i will NEVER recommend sharp shadow for pv. you can also use the slots for longnail + mop overcharm and have a lot more parry lenience and reaction time

my greedy ass tried beating soul tyrant first try with nail 1 and 5 masks and died on last phase with like 5% of his health remaining

So nkg has 1250 on attuned compared to 1600 for pv, and has 1650 on asc rad compared to 1850 on pv. The attuned difference is noticeable, but if you can do them on attuned you should be able to do them on ascended and radiant fairly quickly, and on ascended the difference is barely noticeable its like 7 nail hits or some spells

i feel like hes more random, pv's attacks are always super clear (even if fast) and they feel like theyre easier to dodge (except the pure nail outbirst one but you can shade cloak through it). nkg punishes you for even pogoing wrong slightly bc he tilts his head up after that one attack. and the flame throwing attack still gets me sometimes bro

There's always the option of not pogoing, its the same for pvs dash and 3slash, its good to pogo but safer to not

i tried to beat it by dodging by jumping over it and trying to pogo off its attacks but i found it much much harder 😭

i decided to just like... stick to the floor and dash thru everything, only jumping when it does downward attack or void tendrils

but tbh my biggest crutches are quick slash and unbreakable strenght LMAO
