their point was that they often dont have a lot of soul after markoth, so going into GPZ afterwards with low soul and (presumably) low health isnt a good recipe for success

If he spews 2 jumpers and in that animation i stagger him i can likely heal if its 2 flyers or even 1 flyers i likely won't have time to heal and will have to kill them

then you might aswell try learning markoth to make sure he doesn't get you THAT low (which can be understandably hard to do)

I only use like 2 spells on Markoth and then spam nail arts

In other words, the need is a better Markoth route and less so better GPZ rng

btw if you want you can mod the game to practice p5 markoth
