He serves like a greater purpose to destroy a kingdom, similarly holds within a god power that is similar, and his whole main quest is to use it AND it's in a dream so like
I aint saying it's super far off
But I think the main big difference is that he seems to like want to use the nightmare heart and then he like dramatically hatches from it and fights you with generally the same moves, and the heart doesn't seem to like have as much of it's own being like the radiance or the void which I think is the main difference since The Radiance is like clearly a creature that lives type shit
I would argue that like thematically it's heavily hinted that Grimm simply serves another purpose and like he could be the vessel for the heart and it just has extremely different rules like where we have to be hollow to withhold the radiance he might just have to be fully in line with what the heart wants which is clearly like destruction for something that needs to end
So I SECRETLY extremely agree with you but none of that is ever confirmed and is more fun headcanon than anything
